What is Health?
is defined as the overall condition of a persons’ body or mind and the presence or absence of illness or injury. It is also a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. To promote a healthy lifestyle being physically active is one of the best ways in improving your quality of life.

§Exercise regularly and be physically active. – Working out on a daily basis can boost your physical level. We have that physical fitness component that enables you to perform physical activity that enhances a particular region of your body.
§2. Get enough sleep – Our body needs to rest after performing any activities exerted. The quality of our sleep must be adequate and it depends on what age we are. For teenagers, 8-10 hours of sleep is enough.

∙ Meeting Emergencies – A fit and active person can help or assist other people when they need help.
On the contrary, being inactive is not good for our health. Various types of diseases may arise. Based on statistics one of the leading health problems in the Philippines is a chronic disease for example coronary heart disease and stroke.

Children who adopt healthy eating and exercise habits during middle childhood will have a much effortless time maintaining a healthy lifestyle through adolescence and adulthood than individuals who try to make the shift later in life. Teaching children to habitually eat moderate portion sizes and to choose healthy foods in preference to junk foods becomes increasingly important as children begin to spend more time away from home and gain more independence over their food and activity choices. Even though parents have less control over their children’s eating habits during middle childhood than when children were younger, it remains vital that parents should monitor their children’s healthy habits whenever possible.
